Follese school is located on the west side of Askøy. The school focuses on well-being, security and cooperation leading to increased learning.

Follese school must be a good school to be at, a good school to learn at, and a school where the students are at the centre. The school has around 160 pupils from 1st to 7th grade. The school focuses on a safe and good school environment, physically active learning, sustainable development and home-school cooperation.

  1. All mobile phones, smart watches and the like must be switched off and left in the school bag/bag throughout the school day, and on the school premises during school and after-school hours, even if they can be set to school mode or similar. 

  2. If a student chooses to bring a phone to school, this is at their own risk, and it is thus the parent's insurance policy that comes into play in the event of any damage.

  3. If a student uses the phone during school hours/on school grounds without specific permission, the phone can be confiscated for the rest of the school day. In the case of repeated incidents, this can be extended to parents having to pick up the phone at the school during school opening hours.

The Parents' Council's Working Committee (FAU)

The parents' council's working committee (FAU) promotes the parents' common interests vis-à-vis the school.
If you have children at the school and want to get involved, please contact us. FAU consists of at least one class contact from each grade, other parents who choose to get involved, as well as the FAU board.
